The Mojang Logo: Design and Meaning

The primary Mojang visual identity is built around a wide horizontal wordmark layout (1024×292 pixels, 3.51:1 aspect ratio). Colorimetric analysis of the artwork shows a 3-color palette led by red (#F0323C, RGB 240, 50, 60 at 61% visual coverage), paired with white (#FFFEFE, 27%) and pink (#F6878D, 5%).

The visual history of Mojang spans 3 documented design eras beginning in 2011, including earlier emblems from 2011–2013 and 2013–2020. The current iteration has represented the brand since 2020. For design, editorial and production workflows, this page provides 4 verified asset variants (transparent, on white background, black and white). The master raster file is a 1024×292 px transparent PNG (25 KB) with an isolated alpha channel, accompanied by a lightweight 8 KB scalable SVG vector for infinite-resolution print, signage and UI scaling, plus dedicated black and white one-color versions for dark backgrounds, embossing and screen printing.
